This year, it really felt like Mother's Day crept up on me - it's already coming up on May 10th! Especially with what is going on, it is very difficult to be so far away from family and friends. To be honest, in my mind I've already decided I would drive the 12 hours home if anything bad happens. For now, my Facetime chats with my parents will do! I have already picked out the gift for my mom (split with my brother!), and I cannot wait for her to receive it. Read below for some ideas on how to make this day a little more special for your loved ones.
Welcome to week five of quarantine! I have been realizing how many things I put off pre-shelter in place. One task on my to-do list is to clean out my closet and start buying lasting pieces. The first thing that I wanted to take on were jeans, since that seamed the easiest! For reference I am 5'0" and usually wear a size 6, or 28. Finding jeans that fit me in every way has been...difficult. Each of these jeans I like, but there are none that I love. I hope to get rid of some jeans today, and invest in ones that really fit.

With all of this extra time recently, comes opportunity to watch more TV than usual on the weekends and after work hours. My roommate Kate and I have been ~flying through a wide array of tv shoes/movies to keep ourselves busy. From nostalgic childhood shows to some newer content, it's been very nice to be invested in something and be in the know of Tiger King memes!
