Morning + Night Skincare Routine

Earrings - See Song Designs, Sweater - Lou and Grey

My skincare routine is always changing, but for the past couple of months I've really been loving everything I've been using. When I was at the dermatologist recently they said to keep doing whatever I've been doing when I was getting a silk peel. I'm pretty picky when it comes to skincare, since it'll literally be absorbing into my skin, but I also don't want to shell out a ton of money either. Here, you'll see a combination of products from the drugstore + online that I like to use. As a reference, my skin is not sensitive, and I have combination type skin. All products are linked at the end of the post!
Morning
My routine in the morning isn't complicated at all since I am usually in a rush. I only wash my face at night, so in the morning I just use a cotton pad and Simple Micellar Water to remove any extra product left on the skin from the night before. Afterwards, I apply a small amount of Trader Joe's Enrich SPF 15 moisturizer and some Avalon Organics eye cream under and around my eyes. Once absorbed, I spray some Rosewater and Glycerin spray by the Heritage store and apply makeup as normal!
Night
Depending on how lazy I am, I will use the Kirkland makeup wipes to remove the majority of my makeup, but usually, I'll take a quarter sized amount of the Clinique Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm. The balm is used on a dry face and just melts off all the makeup on my skin without using any wipes.
I always use a face wash in addition to cleanse the skin after removing makeup, and I've been loving the Milk Jelly Cleanser from Glossier. It doesn't dry out my skin or make it feel too tight, but it is gentle and feels very smooth. Of course, I use the Simple Micellar water with a cotton pad
to make sure all leftover oil and makeup is removed (it's easily my favorite product!).
Next, I apply my serums/oils/moisturizers in order of how fast they absorb into the skin per the advice of a consultant at Deciem in NYC. I use a couple of drops of The Ordinary's Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA (Hyaluronic Acid) which sets very quickly into the skin, and then follow up with The Ordinary's EUK 134, which is an antioxidant and was advertised to me to really smooth the skin and reduce redness. The first time I woke up the next day after using it, my skin looked so glowy and radient and I fell in love right away.
Afterwards, I follow up with the same Avalon Organics eye cream and my night time moisturizer from H20+ called the Beauty Oasis Hydrating Treatment. I used to use the Marula Oil from The Ordinary which was AMAZING, and I will probably return to it after i finish my H20+ product even though I like that as well since it's more moisturizing. If I'm really feeling myself, I'll spritz some more Rosewater and Glycerin spray and then head to bed (aka my favorite time of day).
Even though I use a couple of different brands and products, I love The Ordinary for being incredibly affordable. Instead of using a product with many ingredients, The Ordinary sells those specific singular ingredients or products so I know what's in it exactly.
